Max Payne 3 Arcade Modes Announced

has announced two bonus modes for  - Score Attack and New York Minute.

Score Attack is just what it sounds like. After you beat a level, replay it and try to out score your friends. Points are awarded for speed, number of kills, accuracy and use of bullet time. New York Minute gives you one minute to kill as many enemies as you can, with additional time rewarded for each downed enemy. Either of these modes sound fun? I’ll probably give New York Minute a shot. Sounds interesting.

Soon, my friends, soon. Max is almost here. Are you excited yet? This Tuesday, 3 drops on the and 3.

In the Midwest I sometimes hear people say “in a New York minute” to indicate something very fast.
So I wonder how long is a New York minute?
I also wonder, do people in New York have an expression about us Midwesterners to indicate we are slower than they are?

I have a hot water water pressure problem the further back in my home I go. The kitchen is fine, the first bathroom is descent and the master bathroom tub is horrible with hot water. What can I look for to determine what the problem is? One other question is that the cold water over powers the hot water, in order to get warm water I have to turn the hot all the way on and a little on the cold side, what is the problem?

How to dress like a hot nerd for a Halloween costume?
I’ve got a Halloween party soon and I’m planning to dress up as a “hot nerd”.

What kind of things should I be wearing? And what kind of extra accessories (apart from nerd glasses and a bowtie) could I use?

    Anything creative? Nerdy/hot? :)

    thanks in advance!

  8. I’ve replaced most of my hot water piping with 3/4 inch pvc. I took the hot and cold stems of the shower and had awesome pressure. Put new stems in and got no pressure. The interesting thing is that the cold water pressure is great everywhere except the shower and the hot water pressure is non-existent everywhere. The water heater has been drained and is 2 years old. One last detail is in the shower when you put the hot and cold water on there is no difference if you just had the hot on.

  9. It happens pretty randomly. I’ll be freezing then later I’ll be sweating even though the room temperature didn’t change. No I’m not experiencing menopause or anything haha I’m fifteen. I might have thyroid problems, but I don’t know if that has anything to do with hot and cold flashes. I have bad circulation so that contributes to the cold but what about the hot? Sometimes My hands and feet randomly get hot and red and it’s really uncomfortable. What’s up?

  10. I can’t even enjoy myself in the shower because the hot water runs out after about 10 minutes, then I’m left there to freeze. I’m used to taking 30 minute hot soothing showers! I just got out of the shower and was only to shave one leg because it got too cold. Does this mean I have a crappy hot water heater or what?

  11. A bath is filled up with hot water, say 42 degrees C. A volume of cold water is added, taking the temperature down to 38 degrees C.

As a proportion of the water that is already in the bath, how much hot water (42 degrees C) will be needed to bring the whole bath back up to 42 degrees C.

If you could show your working and explain any laws you are using that would be great.
