Hi-Rez only released Tribes: Ascend a few weeks ago, but they’re already confident enough in their playerbase, game balance, and the fan’s desire for competitive gaming tournaments. So, they’re setting up a series of tournaments worth a decent chunk of change, all things considered.
Joining the likes of League of Legends and other competitive co-op games, Hi-Rez are getting in on the cyber-sport action with a three-staged tournament worth $30,000 in total prizes and rewards for Tribes: Ascend, their latest free-to-play first-person shooter PC game. The entire event will be streamed on Twitch TV for spectators, making it worth your while to keep up with even if you’re not participating.
The first stage ends this weekend, on the 12th and is partnered by Sports Network, to determine who will go further into the tournament, with rewards of $2,500.
The semi-finals will be held at E3, streamed live, and the grand finale will be a LAN event in Toronto, Canada.

Hey guys, this fall i’m gonna move into college dorms and I’ve noticed that the wifi there sucks, and will be crappier when the fall semester starts and everyone uses it.
I play league of legends and with crappy internet, league of legends in unplayable. Is it possible if I can set up my own internet connection in the dorms?

i would like to know for the state of PA
from a Fuji Finepix 5100 and it is great for general use. However the bulk of its is within hockey areas and it just dosn’t get the job done under those lighting conditions. The image becomes blurred as you follow the action of the game with the 5100 fastest F-stop. We need a camera that will “track action ” well.
I don’t have the $1000.00 for the Nikon which will really do the job and after a shoulder injury weight is an issue. Will the smaller lighter Sony so the job or is there another make or model under $500.00 you would suggest?
I also like the feel of the old SLRs in my hand so does my husband. We are not looking for one of the tiny boxy cameras, they are nice, but we want the new baby to have more of the look and feel of the Sony or the Fjui.

im in the tenth grade. And I HATE it. I have tuns of friends but just don’t like how regular school goes. like sitting in homeroom for an hour and twenty minutes. having only 3 minutes to get to class when my school is one of the biggest in western pa. and I don’t like much of my teachers either. so i was considering cyber school. but my parents don’t like it. but can someone tell me besides socialization whats wrong with it. i mean i have 10 kids in my neighborhood where i go out and play sports with all the time. After a game of league of legends, My game completely shuts down and I have to re log in without receiving my scoreboard. So when I log back in, I get a log in queue, and it annoys me. Can comeone tell me why this happens?
