AION hasn’t been resting on its laurels lately. No, in fact, 3.0, the latest update, is packed full of features for both rookie and veteran players. Check after the break for all the latest info from AION‘s 3.0 expansion!
If you haven’t tried AION yet and are worried about catching up to some of the more experienced players, worry not, because a new mount is being added to the game to help you get around the gameworld all the easier! While it won’t make your character any stronger, it will make you look fancy and help you turn in quests faster, which is what really counts.
For veterans of AION, two brand new areas are being added to the game for level 55 and up called Sarpan and Tiamaranta. Sarpan is activated by an individual campaign quest and includes neutral territories as well as free PvP zones. It’s said to be “ filled with strong opponents who drop lucrative rewards.” Tiamaranta can be reached through Kamar City and is made for the PvP enthusiasts in the 58 to 60 level range and features fortresses that either side can capture.
Oh, right, the level cap is being increased to 60 in case my last paragraph didn’t give it away.
So now that AION has been free-to-play, why not check it out or dive back in with the new update due this summer?

Dear Community,
Since I have gotten the update 3.0.0.4 of ION, I am unable to run the game. Does anyone know, if there is a way to run Aion v. 3.0.0.4 on Windows 8? Unfortunately there is no way to run an older version, as the game requests for the 3.0.0.4 version. I have already read myself through the pages on the web, but I have not gotten any information that could be useful in any way. I’d be happy, if someone would inform me, once there is a way to play that game.
Thank You,
Rei

I need to know what needs to be met to play Aion smoothly without The lag and being jerky. Thanks in advance.
i have an account but i have to make an acount to play aion i put in my code thing and then it ask if i want to use my NCsoft Account Name and Password and at the bottom of that it has creat an account next to it is says Create a New Account Name and Password i did it but then it takes me to a thing thats says were did i get aion i click wal-mart and then the credit card stuff comes up? what do i do?
I just preordered aion today and i got a beta card to install the game, I have already downloaded the game and now I am installing it but for some reason it is going really slow, like 10 kbs / sec. It has to install over 5800 mb and I am only at 8.5 and its been near fifteen minutes.
I need help fast please!
I was wondering what was wrong with my Aion game download. I did previous closed betas and it worked fine. When open beta started I couldn’t get it to work, so I uninstalled and downloaded it again. This didn’t work either, so I did it yet again. It still isn’t working. I have been using FilePlanet. I tried BitTorrent and the estimated time was 29 weeks, so I uninstalled.
i just wanted to know because every time i try to start aion or an private server. It doesnt work.
it fails to load and i think this is happening to the real Aion aswell. Someone please help me.
I want to get the beta for Aion the game. I cannot install it to my computer because it is not mine. When I WAS installing it to this computer, it worked fine. When I install it to my External Hard Drive, it says Please Insert Disk 1 now.
What do I do? I wanna play Aion so bad
If you know nothing of Aion, just answer the question best as possible so I can learn something and try new things. Thanks
I have seen that they still sell the original Aion and the expansion, so what happends if i just buy the original game?
