The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Releases This September on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360

returns to the , , and this September in Frogwares‘  The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. To celebrate, five new have been released from the game.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is an investigation game set in London during the turn of the century.  You take control of the famous detective, and even Watson during some portions, immediately following the conclusion of a case in which a set of priceless jewels are returned to the owner, only to find out the jewels are fake.  Suddenly, Holmes’ reputation is called into question and London begins to wonder if Sherlock is really all that he claims.  Even Watson, his ever-faithful companion, begins to wonder about Holmes as he acts more and more strangely.  Even Scotland Yard is after the legendary gumshoe! The takes a fairly serious tone, fitting the bleak outlook of the game’s content.

As a player, you’ll be able to use Sherlock Holmes’ considerable talents and “handle and inspect clues, reenact crimes and use the game’s new deduction system to draw your own conclusions. Choose your questioning approach to catch characters off guard and gather valuable information” as you try to prove your innocence and restore the good name of Sherlock Holmes.

Your choices seem to have a deciding factor on the story as you approach a completely open investigation and must use your own deductive reasoning to make the choice you think is correct, perhaps leading to multiple play throughs with varying results depending on the clues and choices you make.

So, if you’ve been looking for a head-scratching game to play this fall, or you’re just a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, be sure to check out The Testament of Sherlock Holmes this fall, by Frogwares, on PC, , and 3 September 2012.

Okay so I watched the motion picture and I never recognize how the guy in the bathtub died in the Sherlock Holmes movie. The brit accent was much too robust for me to recognize wtf sherlock holmes was saying.

Or any reasonable career like Sherlock Holmes? No answers that have absolutely nothing to do with the issue will be reported. Solutions that do can go straight ahead.

  5. So what is the tune that plays in Sherlock Holmes: A Video Game Of Shadows in the course of the battle with the stag get together assassin and Holmes? I went by means of the soundtrack samples on Amazon and it isn’t going to seem to be on the OST except if it is in a different aspect not played in the sample.

  6. Sherlock Holmes is noted for saying something specific to his detectives, can anyone tell me what he used to say?

  7. My dad and I really like to play video games, but not just basic shooters or anything like that. We really like games where you really have to think, with puzzles and a good story. Some games we’ve really enjoyed in the past were the Sherlock Holmes games from Frogwares, and CSI games. Another one I though we might enjoy is Portal 2, but do you have any other suggestions for us? (I have a PC and XBOX 360)

    Thanks!!
Forgot to mention this one at first, but we also really enjoyed LA Noire

  8. Does anyone know if the voice actors for Holmes and Watson in the up-coming Testament of Sherlock Holmes are the same actors from previous Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games?
