False alarm, mobile rockers. It appears that the iOS version of Rock Band is not being shutdown after all.
A couple of days ago iOS users started getting a disturbing message whenever they booted up their mobile Rock Band app that declared the game would be unplayable as of May 31. EA is now saying that that is fortunately not the case.
“Rock Band for iOS will remain live – the in-app message users received yesterday was sent in error,” a representative for EA told Joystiq. “We apologize for the confusion this caused. We’re working to clarify the issue that caused the error and will share additional information as soon as possible.”
The original apparently erroneous message, that has since been replaced by the one above
Although this certainly raises some interesting questions about digital distribution and the amount of control developers and publishers may have over the continued availability of their games even after they’ve been purchased, for now it seems we can keep on rocking on our iOS devices.

I experimented with everything! I attempted shutdown -i and that did not work. I even turned off the firewall and it still did not work. Make Sure You inform me how to shutdown a computer on a wireless network.

i plugged everything in my playstationo 2 like it mentioned for me to do, and then i plugged it in and clicked the electricity button, and then when i do that, it displays me a screen with a bunck of colo;rful dots flying around, and goes t o the display that explained browserr something, i dont know what to do, it just wont flip oN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I want to do a search I have to place the cursor and stop these repeating items and then delete them as the will stay in the search bar and interfere with my search. i got a new phone (blackberry pearl) and cant log in to ea fantasy football. it keeps refreshing to the same page even with registration too. ive also tried just ea.com but that requires a flash player and i understand that flash is not available to blackberry at this time. any help out there????
I mean, they’re going to buy Take Two, so I guess it’ll be a matter of time when they completely take over the gaming industry. I REALLY hate EA games! Their games lack quality now, especially EA Sports which are all repetitive and cost $60.00. I don’t think they even care about the player, just their corrupt industry.
