So I am in the marketplace for a new gaming mouse. I am at the moment using a cyborg R.A.T 7. The Rat 7 is a good mouse. The difficulty I have with the mouse is that when I plug the mouse in it turns on and off and it wont stay on quite long… annoying. It is really getting irritating so I want to acquire a new mouse. I will not use any weights, but it feels good; i also missing the weights so no selection :p. I really want to get a new mouse for both MMO and FPS games, so a mouse that has the functionality to both perform MMO and FPS games.
So significantly I have been looking at the next mice:

Razer Deathadder Black
Razer Mamba 2012
-durable develop quality
-multiple buttons on side
-preferably wireless but dosnt have to be.
Questions:
- optical or laser
- is ~5000 dpi truly necessary?

I got a Razer Naga gaming mouse for Christmas and it has been working perfect until last night. I got up from my bed and touched the mouse and received a static shock. I tried unplugging the mouse and restarting the computer with no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this? I’d appreciate having my $80 mouse working again…..
I absolutely loved the Assassin’s Creed series and I also love Prototype. I am looking for games similar to that or just good rpg games and action, adventure games.

I got the razer naga eventhough it is more expensive, but it looks cooler.
I am more of an fps gamer, I also like the DeathAdder but I just went for the Naga molten anyway.
The number keys on the side of the mouse are hard enough and I do not accidentaly click them.
From time to time I get into a great and fun PC game, my favorite genres seem to be RTS and action RPG. I am struggling to find fantastic titles though, I have played many. Fable, diablo, gothic, mass effect, warcraft, starcraft, dune, command and conquer et cetera. If you have a game you love, I’d enjoy hearing about it.

I recently stopped playing WoW (World of Warcraft) — thankfully! They game started to get boring.
Anyway, I have started to play Mass Effect and I really like the game – I am looking forward to Mass Effect 2!!! The series (in my mind) is a good combo of RPG and real-time action.

what is the best mousemat to use with the Razer Naga? I hear that black mousemats can affect the laser it uses.
I’ve played Gauntlet Legends and Champions of Norrath, and the sequel, Return to Arms. I was curious if anyone know if there are any plans for that type of game coming out for the consoles. It was kinda neat leveling up you chara. and weapons and armor. And yes, I know there is WoW and that one is fun, but it is also fun to go hang out and play with 3 other friends on a console.
