Online gaming is growing faster then anything I have ever seen.
Wherever can I look at Quakecon online?
Ok, I’m by now psyched for Quake Con 2009, and I dwell in Dallas here…so it’s wonderful for me!!!!
WHO’S IN?!
We’re placing in a fundamental firepit in our yard and will be obtaining a get together with about 20-25 guests for a bonfire/cookout. What ought to we do for seating for the bonfire? Logs? BYOC (bring your own chair)? Blankets and cushions on the grass? Rent plastic chairs? Something else? I can’t decide! The get together is “down house country bbq”-ish
I like the haybale idea…it would seem rustic, and I could cover them with some burlap or something…hmmm…I’d just be afraid a person would catch their seat on fire!
I just signed my son up under the ID surfdaddy@yahoo.com and evidently I did not complete the registration since he is a minor. I would like to complete it accurately and now we are not in a position to access it beneath the same ID and password. Make Sure You help.
I Am intrigued in studying of any companies in Dallas that are devoted to the culture of Chile in S. America. Are there any Chilean communities in Dallas? Any common dining establishments or markets? Any addresses and mobile phone figures would be tremendously appreciated.
Thank you!
When you purchase a new car from a dealership in California, how do you get the registration, title, and license plates? Does the dealer submit your registration and will you receive the title, license plates, and registration stickers in the mail?
I’m interested in learning of any organizations in Dallas that are devoted to the culture of Chile in S. America. Are there any Chilean communities in Dallas? Any popular restaurants or markets? Any addresses and phone numbers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
PSN went down Wednesday night, April 22nd, it is now Saturday night, Sunday morning for some, May 7th/8th and PSN is STILL down. When PSN first went down they were saying it could be a full day, maybe two, before it went back up, they then said it would be up within a week, now they aren’t even giving us a time frame at all, just “We are working around the clock to get services restored” or whatever it is they’re saying. I realize they had to do a full investigation, and they rebuilt their entire system, and “want to ensure that the system is secure before it goes back up” but I think it’s taking a little too long now. 2 more weeks and PSN will have been down for a full month… What are your guys’ thoughts on this? Is this taking wayyy too long, should Sony keep PSN down till they are 500% sure it’s secure, what do you think? I do agree that they should make sure it is secure, but I also think it’s taking Sony too long to do so. Thoughts and opinions?
Edit:
PSN went down April 20th, not the 22nd, sorry about that.
@Tommy Jose
Well, Sony is giving us a “Welcome Back Package” when PSN is back online, whenever that is, and they’re also giving us a month of PlayStation Plus so, I mean, for not paying to play online, I don’t think that is a HORRIBLE way to make it up to the PSN users, but I’m still not jumping up and down for getting those “gifts”.
@Ashesandsnow
Nowhere in there was I complaining, I just said I thought it was starting to take too long, and I’m pretty sure 90% of the people would agree. I just asked this question so people can say what’s on their minds. If you apparently have a life, and the rest of us don’t, then why are you on Yahoo Answers right now too?
@Bulkhead
It actually wasn’t down April 19th. Sony detected the problem April 19th but didn’t shut down PSN until the 20th, Wednesday night… And if you don’t believe me, here’s IGN’s timeline for the whole thing:
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/116/1166503p1.html
Also Bulkhead, the reason I said 2 weeks until it would be a month is because I was going off of the 22nd, which would be 2 weeks. If you want to be so precise then in 1 week and 6 days it will have been a month.
@DrakuLe
Sony has said on their website they will be giving each customer a free month of PlayStation Plus, and originally I heard they were giving a free month of Qriocity Music Unlimited to every user, from their site too, but I’m not sure if they are still giving that or not. They also did say that they were going to give every U.S. resident (Other countries will not be getting it, unless Sony says otherwise in a new update) a year of free Identity Theft Protection. Here is the link to Sony’s PlayStation site so you can get more up to date on the whole matter: http://blog.us.playstation.com/
So I have a PS3 and Black Ops. My internet connection is with Wi-Fi. My PS3 is like 4-5 meters away from the router. When I login PSN , go into Multiplayer ( Black Ops) and click PlayStation Network, go in the Player Match(or any other) lobby and within 5-10 seconds, It would disconnect me. Saying “Notice: No network connection detected. You must have an active network connection to play online or over a local network.” and “You have been disconnected from access point” But then, RIGHT after i disconnect, I’m able to log back into PSN within seconds. Also, this error pops up ” An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network. (8002AD36)” and sometimes same error but different code =”80710736″
I have NAT TYPE 2 .
My disc reader broke and i sent away my playstation 3 and just got it back and got the internet running again and the only option i can see to log in is to “sign up” for PSN and i just want to find out where i can sign in with my old account?
Thank you.
I just went to Walmart about 2 hours ago, got back and went on my ps3 to redeen $50 worth. i entered the code and this message pops up:
“Funds cannot be added to your Wallet”
wtf? i paid 50 bucks just to get a PSN Card and it wont accept it??
So I just bought a $50.00 PSN card. I went to add the funds to the “Wallet”.
I put in the passcode on the back of the card. The pop up said “This card contains $50.00 YADA YADA” “Would you like to add these funds to your wallet?”
I hit the YES button.
Another pop up comes up “The funds could not be added to your wallet”
What is going on here? Im logged in. Everything appears okay… Any thoughts…
My question “PSN is never coming back. Why dont we just give up?” was reported. Is that seriously worth a violation?
PSN is PlayStation Network, by the way.
I haven’t turned on my PS3 in a while…but last night I decided to play BF3, so I turned my system on. First thing I had to do was update the system. Then it had to install. I put BF3 in and, of course, an hour long update. I didn’t feel like waiting, so I turned the system off. I turned it back on about an hour ago and I’m trying to update the game now…but when it gets to 6% a message pops up “The PS3 system has been disconnected from the media server” then about 30 seconds after it will say “An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlaystationNetwork” and my download stops and I try again. It just happened for the 3rd time as I type…what do I do?
