Last week we told you about upcoming PC-exclusive, Mercenary Ops, a third-person shooter being made by Chinese developers, Yingpei Games. Today they’ve released the game modes that will be featured in this original IP, and you can read about them below.
CO-OP MISSIONS
Assault (5 players)
- Push forward with a team in objective-based missions to gain access to equipment and upgrades. Fight against ruthless enemies that become more challenging behind every door, drawing the player closer to the epic battle at the end of their assault.
Survival (5 players)
- Battle for survival by fending off seemingly endless waves of attacking zombies and other walking dead species. Prepare for the horrors that lie ahead by repairing defenses and earning points to unlock the weapons as well as ammunition needed to survive.
Invasion (8 Players)
- Take on waves of the enemy horde as they push forward in a path of destruction. Use time wisely and make shots count against deadly AI-controlled foes and mini-bosses to earn in-game currency.
COMPETITIVE
Team Deathmatch (8 v 8)
- Compete in a kill-based match-up across changing combat zones. In this fast-paced, tactical team battle, triumph over the opposition and earn a place at the top of leader board.
Demolition (8 v 8)
- Engage in an objective-based struggle of destruction by working with a team of conspiring mercenaries to seek and destroy a targeted bomb site. Defend against the opposing force by finding and defusing their bomb, or eliminate the threat altogether to claim victory.
Elimination (8 v 8)
- Take up arms against another team of opposing mercenaries in a tactical bout to determine the victor. When the only thing that matters is obliterating the enemy, even the smallest mistake can be grounds for defeat in this high stakes, elimination-based competition.

I see it cycle via almost never but the program will give us the other levels over and over. I typically do team or mercenary dying match. I started enjoying COD final month and just purchased Black Ops last week so I def qualify as a noob.

Following my profession as a navy diver I prepare on turning out to be a mercenary. Is there a likelihood for a navy diver to turn out to be a mercenary? I Am female so seals is out of the question. Must I join one more unique ops team to greater my possibility of getting to be a mercenary?

I’ve been playing Black Ops since it came out and I was wondering if anyone would like to play with me as it’s almost impossible to play ground war without running into a team, not to mention playing mercenary deathmatch gets boring. I don’t have a mic, but I’m just looking for people to play with regularly.

I can connect to the online feature ,(having to use the create a new profile then log in with that then log out then use the right profile 2 get in. once in I cant connect to anything except combat training, i select like free for all or team death match and it says checking 50 matches for quality or something like that, then the number slowly goes down and after about 3 minutes it says error no matches found please try your search again. am I the only 1 on wii multiplayer :O ?? I go through a router and through a satellite ( netkaster through northwest tel) I can play other games on the comp with it like combat arms ETC) so any help here or am I stuck practising lol. thanks for any help

Hello, so I’m writing a story about special ops and mercenaries and such. Problem is, I don’t know a whole lot about them.
I have a few questions:
1. What is a mercenary exactly and can they work in teams?
1.5. How often do they work in teams?
2. Are there better trained killers than mercs.
3. How good are the mercs who work in teams?
4. More personal: Would you like a story about a team of trained mercs, or assassins?

Since so many Gay men want to join the Military, why can’t they join the Mercenaries that the Pentagon uses as Combat Forces.
Last I checked the Black Ops Mercenaries don’t have any Sexual issues like women can’t kill people or if your Gay you can’t kill people.

I normally don’t boost but I’m tired of trying to get this stupid throwback challenge. I’ve been trying for nearly 3 weeks now and only have one throwback. If someone helps me get this I’ll help them get it too. This is my plan, we go on Mercenary TDM and one of you joins me before the match starts so we will be on different teams, we will go in a certain area in the map and throw frags at each other. My PSN is J30M4MA anybody want to help me please?
Whenever i go into black ops, when im in the player match lobby, i try to press a game type. but the game types are faded and i cant click on them, like when your in a party and you try to click on mercenary. So i try to switch lobbies and then come back, but then i have a black screen with the thing that says Call of Duty BLACK OPS in the bottom right corner. So after it finally loads, the game types are sometimes back to normal. But then when i click on them, i get a black screen with Call of Duty Black Ops in the bottom right corner. and it will NOT load. It isnt frozen because there is that little thing next to it still going in a circle. But it just gets stuck here and i end up having to shut off my xbox but when i try again the same thing happens. I tried cleaning the disc, and the xbox is only 3 months old.
