The industry’s worst kept secret is officially out. Following a leak by Amazon, Sony have finally decided to unveil the next entry in the God of War franchise. Titled God of War: Ascension, the game is set to be a prequel staring series icon Kratos in a time before he was made a rage-filled god.
Judging from the trailer, box art and teaser images that have been released, it’s clear that Sony Santa Monica are trying to humanise Kratos after God of War 3 saw him reach almost comical levels of fury and wrath. It’ll be interesting to see how they choose to portray the softer side of their typically brutish protagonist.
The game will be directed by Todd Pappy, who follows in the footsteps of Stig Asmussen, Cory Barlog and David Jaffe.

Ok so handful of days ago, I had to go to this meeting at my work at the SONY BMG. I purchased God of War 3 and this game is totally freezing up on me it is to the position in which you cant even perform it and there is a whole lot of people obtaining issues with the game also and it is not a hardware concern since everybody that has this problem is able to perform their other game titles and films this is a software issue. As of right now Sony only has the 40GB PS3 on the market. Is Sony planning to make a new model that is backwards complatible with PS2 or are there no plans for that in the future?

The people in the military have to kill a lot of lives while they are in war. Does God still see this as murder?
If war is caused by a divine presence what does this divine presence do to cause war? Any ideas anybody? I think wars are caused by different reasons, but how does a god influence how a war would start?
I recently bought the collection of god of war 1 and 2 for ps3 and I want more. I have a psp so should i buy the psp ones separately or wait for the ps3 collection of them.
I know that the second God Of War comes with a second disc that has special features on it (I used to have it ) so I was just wondering does the collecters edition that has both God of war 1 and 2 for the playstation 3 have those special features?
I have level 63 attack, 57 prayer, 77 magic, 82 ranging, 73 strength, 67 defence and 37 summoning.
Good enough to survive a round or two? Or do i need to train something some more?
And who are the gods and goddesses of war?
I played all the games in both the series and i’ve got to say the environment and level design and just the insane way you can cause damage is amazing in God of War but at the same time the cutscenes, and the crazy combos you can do in DMC is just incredible. And dante is such a BETTER protagonist than Kratos but still vast majority of people prefer God of war. Why?
