Welcome comic lovers, to my little weekly slice of this site I like to call The Comic Fanatic. If you haven’t joined us before, this is where I give you a synopsis of what I’ve picked up new this week, and in general what I’ve been reading. If you haven’t yet, be sure to check you my review of Avengers VS X-Men #2, it’s a rather good issue. If you haven’t jump aboard the Avengers VS X-Men train, it’s not too late. It looks to be really great event, even if you only read the core series. However, as with most Marvel events, those that read the tie-in books are in for a more involved and complete story.
Speaking of tie-ins, Wolverine and the X-Men #9 is one, a rather good one. It focuses on Wolverine and his internal conflict between his being and mutant and an Avenger, and what to do about the kids that have recently been placed under his protection. It’s not just him anymore, he’s got a great deal of people relying on him. It will be interesting to see Wolverine’s path though this saga, especially since Jason Aaron is writing both Wolverine and the X-Men and Avengers VS X-Men.
Also new this week is Uncanny X-Force #24. Many people will be relieved at this issue. It goes back to the previous art style and wraps up the last arc (which many didn’t like). This is a great issue. The team splits in two, Fantomex and Psylocke are recovering from recent events and have a some good scenes together. Evan even makes an cameo. The bulk of the issue is spent with Nightcrawler, Wolverine and Deadpool as they take out AoA Bobby Drake, who is a very bad man/snowman. Fans of the series will not be disappointed. Also, it’s not a bad jumping on point. I talked to Rick Remender at #C2E2 about what was coming next, and he was intentionally vague. Nice guy though. The preview panel also just shows the X-Force, so next month’s issue will be totally a surprise. Thus, I am excited.

Who do you feel would win if Gluttony (from Full Metal Alchemist) & Wolverine (X-Men) obtained into a fight? For these of you that will not know who Gluttony is, here is some info

I know that the most recent 1 is Wolverine X-Men origins but I heard that a new one is coming out and this time it is filmed in Japan but I want to know if this is true.
Marvel has introduced that they are canceling Uncanny X-Men, their longest working series, right after concern 544. What do you think?

What do you assume is following in comics?
at the stop of the last episode of wolverine and the x-men, it showed cyclops with apocalypse, could that mean that if they make a period 2, they will be doing the Universe exactly where jean and the professor are dead and wolverine is in a wheelchair and cyclops would like revenge, like i believe it was in the comics? And if so how could wolverine be paralyzed and in a wheelchair with his heeling factor?

My son loves Wolverine and the X-men, and he wants some of the comics, but I understand that most of them are quite violent. I don’t want my son to end up like those other kids on the American western coast that were in the news and were into comics. I don’t want my son to get any bad habits like fighting from comics. Are there any Wolverine/X-men comics that don’t have any violence/fighting or anything related to alcohol/drugs/sex. I understand that the x-men are about equality and tolerance, so I would like some of the episodes that focus on those ideals, and none of the violence stuff.

I personally hope that the X-Men win and save the mutants from becoming extinct. Also, would love to see Wolverine and Beast go back to the X-Men but it does not look like Wolverine would and also i can see him just fighting by himself, one man for himself.
I know the Avengers are Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, what if they teamed up with the Fantastic Four to beat the heck of the other Marvel groups, who would win?

I do not read a lot of marvel comic books, but I am a huge fan of marvel and the great and only Stan Lee! I don’t really know whats happened so far in the marvel universe of comics, but can someone please update me with what happened to him and why the red hulk is there instead of him?
What are some other good big crossovers like maybe avengers vs justice league or good stories to read? New to comics thanks
I have just bought the first issue of Avengers Vs. X-Men but I am still a little confused about the storyline. If someone could just explain to me all the major things which have happened leading up to this comic it would be much appreciated. Such as what happened with Jean Grey and why is Scott Summers now with Magneto? Also who is Hope? What happened to all the mutants and if there anything I need to know about the Avengers? Stuff like that is what I am looking for. You don’t have to go into too much detail but just enough so I can understand what is going on better. Lastly do you know how many issues there will be? Thank you in advance.
