Yesterday saw the release of the first DLC for Mass Effect 3. While this one didn’t augment the ending in anyway (that bit is coming later), we got some substantial additions to the multiplayer. The Resurgence DLC has added a new race option to every class, as well as some new weapons and shop options.
First things first, the shop has introduced the Premium Spectre Pack. As the most cost efficient pack available, this addition will probably be the first thing you go to, as it’s how you’re going to get all your new fancy stuff.

What I CAN tell you that that trailer doesn’t cover is how these things end up working out. Let’s start with the good.
Geth Plasma SMG is a fantastic gun. It’s far and away, in my opinion, the best SMG to be added to the multiplayer. Its recoil is significantly less than the other options you have (damn that Hornet. Seriously) while still having good damage.
Both Geth classes are fantastic. The Geth Hunter ability makes them more fragile, but is a major boost to damage, movement speed and lets them see enemies through walls. The Engineer gets Overload, the best ability ever. The only down side is the infiltrator is stuck with proximity mines, which don’t work particularly well in comparison to some of the other options (like any of the grenades).
The Krogan Vanguard looks amazing. With Biotic Charge, Carnage, and Barrier in addition to the standard Krogan Berserker and Rage abilities, this seems to be the creme de la creme in durable Korgan wrecking ball technology.
One of these is obviously way cooler than the rest.
Of the new maps, I like Firebase Condor. It’s a sort of radial map where you can station yourself in a clear center, which has good vantage points. There are some areas where you can’t watch certain checkpoints while also staying behind appropriate cover, but oh well, not everything can be easy.
However, not everything is butterflys and ice cream.
The Batarian Soldier has an ability called Ballistic Blades, which apparently doesn’t even work right. With low damage and erratic aiming, it’s essentially a dud ability at the moment.
Also, the Asari Justicar is, with the exception of their Biotic Sphere (showcased in the video above, it is essentially a bubble, much like the area-Stasis, that reduces damage taken by friends inside of it), is identical skill wise to the Drell Adept, with Pull and Reave. People looking for a brand new way to play an Adept will be a bit disappointed.
Free DLC with new content is never a bad thing, and almost everything in the Resurgence Pack is awesome.

Ok, so I have been conserving up credits for a whilst due to the fact I got the guns I genuinely like. Bioware has lately released their initial multiplayer DLC so I commenced blowing my 2.6 million credits on Spectre packs to get the new characters and weapons but have not been fortunate adequate to get any of them. I have 2 million credits still left and I was wondering if anyone has gotten a DLC merchandise yet.
There are rumors heading around that they are releasing a new commendation package just for the new DLC items so I am going to conserve the rest.

I have downloaded the new totally free DLC Resurgence 3 times now and when I go to play it, it states the characters are locked and I don’t have the weapons. CAN Any Individual Help PWEESE, oh I am on Xbox BTW
New video game maps. Do Not know how to play them following bought.
I heard there were 3 games modes for mass result 3. I think it was tale mode, motion mode and the traditional Mass Impact mode. When I imported my Me2 Character, I was never ever provided the alternative to choose among these modes.
Ok so I’ve just bought the Resurgence map pack for Modern Day Warfare 2 on PS3. It had 7 information I had to download, and I downloaded every single one particular of them (I counted), and installed ALL of them. When I go to perform the maps, I cant play them because it states “Resurgence Pack DLC required.” And no, I did not get the Stimulus bundle accidentaly. I have downloaded and mounted every little thing correctly, I have even re-installed all 7 files for a second time, and tried using again, with no success. So Please HELP. I dont want to waste all that money, and I would truly like to play individuals maps.
If you dont know how to repair it, then could you please tell me a mobile phone amount I could ring up (Like Sony or something), so they can help me. I reside in Sydney, Australia, so dont get an American number or something

As of 2012, do plenty gamers play MW2, that have the Resurgence DLC, that you’ll always get in a lobby where you get to play a Resurgence map right away and not wait for like 10 minutes for people to join? Should I get the map pack?

Ok, so yesterday I had a friend recover my game profile and then go to buy the new COD Resurgence Map Pack. He went to it and it said he had already downloaded it, so he downloaded it again to his Xbox’s hard drive. After that he signed out of my profile and I recovered my gamertag once again. When we went to play the maps everything was fine, and he can still continue to play them.
Now, I decided to give a second friend this option. He did the same thing. This time however when he went to play the new maps they didn’t work and he was instantly booted out of the game since he didn’t have them. However, they are on his hard drive. Is there anyway to get the maps from his hard drive to his gamer profile?
I don’t understand how this works since it worked fine with my other friend. At this point I’m a little worried that this could count as changing licence in which case I would be screwed since I will have to replace my xbox and recover all my old content again? If you could answer all my questions, that would be great.
I have been doing research and found out the new maps for the mw2 dlc ‘Resurgence Pack’. This pack will be the same as the last featuring 3 new and 2 cod4 maps in the new dlc. This dlc will be available for download on xbox 360 first on June 3rd and PC and PS3 a little later.
Carnival – an abandoned carnival area with a Ferris wheel, fun house and other attractions
Trailer Park – full of “super tight corridors” and featuring a pool
Fuel – a “sniper haven” based in and around an oil refinery

I need help on how to make the new resurgence pack work I don’t download I can’t click the game mode
I recently purchased fallout 3 game of the year edition and was really excited. I installed the main game and it worked fine. I put in the second disk, it took a little while to start up but eventually it did. It installed really quickly and when it was done nothing happened. What do i do to make it so I can play the DLC’s?
How do you download the DLC characters for ps2 Smackdown vs Raw 2011? How do you use the DLC? Do you need internet access on the game system.I want more people like Layla and others.
After downloading the DLC, I am unable to access the content as I have no access to the Animus (the last save file is right before Desmond is supposed to pick up the apple). Is there no way to access the content without starting entirely over from scratch? Pushing the map button brings up the same menu as pausing the game.

I just bought the Ghost Recon Future Soldier DLC ‘Arctic Strike’ from Gamestop. The DLC is released on XBL on July 3rd, but the receipt and power up rewards website say I won’t have the code until the 10th. Will that date change to when it is released or will I have to wait 7 days for the DLC I just purchased a week early?

I have the 2 disc set and i just got it and im trying to use the dlc on the 2nd disc, but it keeps saying that i need a hard drive to use the dlc. The xbox that i have is the new 360 slim (the one with the annoying touch buttons) with the 4 gb internal hard drive. Anyone know why it won’t recognize the hard drive? Also any other suggestions?
I’m going away for two weeks to my relatives, who have an xbox like I do. I want to use my gamertag and dlc whilst I’m there, and to remove it from their xbox and put it back on mine when I return. What’s the easiest way to do this? I’m very confused as to how to go about doing that.
