Today (April 5th, 2012) 2K games announced a massive expansion coming for Sid Meier’s Civilization V subtitled Gods and Kings for PC.
The Gods & Kings expansion will enhance the Civilization V experience with the return of religion and espionage as well as adding nine new civilizations ruled by nine new unique leaders. Nine new wonders and three original scenarios will also be included alongside dozens of new units, buildings, technologies and resources to help expand your empire across the world.
With world conquest comes war for territory. Gods and Kings will introduce new systems for land and naval combat for players to master on their quest for world domination.
With the return of religion and espionage in the Gods and Kings expansion players can spread religion across the world to found the first Pantheon of the Gods. With espionage players can deploy their spies in enemy cities. By doing so, players can form alliances or steal enemy technology.
The expansion will be available for PC on June 19th, 2012 in North America, and internationally June 22nd, 2012.
