Space Travelers Rejoice, Star Trek Online Goes European

by Jennifer KibbleMarch 29, 2012

Star Trek Online is an MMORPG from Cryptic Studios that first launched in February of 2010. It started out as a pay-to-play game which eventually evolved into a free-to-play one.

Today it has been announced that Cryptic Studios is launching Star Trek Online in Europe. This means those in Germany and France are now able to take the Captain’s chair. The best part is that STO will be launching as free-to-play and will come equipped with all of the expansions.

We’d like to share this accomplishment with our community of players that have given their ongoing support to help us create an innovative game that captures Star Trek’s essence and we are happy to offer a localized experience for our French and German-speaking players. Our team is looking forward to sharing this experience with players in Europe and across the world. – Dan Stahl, Executive Producer
