More Details on Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, iPad version

A few more details about the version of the upcoming Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition have been revealed. The game will support multiplayer (as the original did) and it will cost below ten dollars.  Given that a single playthrough of the original Baldur’s Gate can easily take 60-80 hours, this is an incredible value.

“Baldurs Gate is a pretty big game and we’re not cutting it down to size,” Cameron Tofer (COO of Beamdog, the developer) said. “There’s a boatload of content there, 80+ hours. But past ten dollars doesn’t make sense.”

With every announcement, I get more excited for Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition. I am looking forward to putting many hours into the Bhaalspawn saga again. Look for Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition this summer, with the sequel, Baldur’s Gate 2: Enhanced Edition to follow later this year.

  1. Well, I have Darkish Alliance 1 and i defeat it, i want to know wherever i can find Darkish Alliance 2 Baldur’s Gate.

  2. I’m enjoying Baldur’s Gate II. One Particular of my characters, Keldorn, now has 6 strength, for some reason. He Is in level 13. I would like him to have no matter what strength he had. How?

    • Keldorn probably got strength drained by the undead in the sewers. Use a restoration spell on him and his strength should return to normal. =)

  3. I’m actively playing Baldur’s Gate II. 1 of my characters, Keldorn, now has 6 strength, for some reason. He’s in stage 13. I would like him to have whatever power he had. How?

  4. Ok, so I acquired Baldur’s Gate 2 and set up it on my laptop computer with no problem. My laptop is a Dell working on an i5 quad core. The OS is Windows 7.

Now, when I perform the sport I get lag each and every handful of seconds, I actually want to perform it, but it lags so bad that I just are unable to stand to. I’ve tried using adjusting the graphics options but nothing there seems to help.
So my question is, what can I do to get this recreation to quit lagging?

  5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of jailbreaking an iOS device?
Specifically for the iPhone 4S and the new iPad.
Also, what are the risks involved when jailbreaking?
Can somebody also tell me how it effects the overall speed/performance of the device and the battery life?

  6. The 1st games in the Baldur’s Gate series are incompatible with windows XP; Is there a downloadable program to correct this?

I have beaten both Baldur’s Gate/Dark Alliance games, and, is there a third one, or at least it’s in the making? I think that the second game was made in 2004, but i’m probably wrong. This is probably a stupid question but i’m curious. I’ve also done some research on google and went on ‘rumor’ sites of it, so i don’t excactly know. Does anyone out there know the right answer to my question?

  8. Can someone give me a detailed explanation how to do this?
More specifically I can’t seem to save the file

Please also add if you have done it or just ripped it off a website.

  9. i can fix this by closing everything i have open, which is usually itunes, baldur’s gate, and mozilla firefox, but i don’t want to keep doing that every time the problem occurs.

    im using tutu

  10. I’m looking for a game that is similar to Baldur’s Gate and Champions of Norrath that I can play online with my friend. Also, feel free to recommend any other MMORPG that would be fun to play. Thanks!!
Max: Thanks for your answer but I was looking for something more like Baldur’s Gate and Champs in game style. I did try NW and NW2 and they were good games, just not what I’m looking for

  11. Hey all baldur gate fans I was just wondering what the order of the games. (this should be based on the story line) I know there are 4 games that were created baulder’s gate, tales of the sword coast, baldur gate’s two shadow of anm and the throne of bhaal. Can someone please help me with the order of the games.
There should be only 4 in the series if your not familar, I’m looking in the games where your character is a child of bhaal the god of murder.

  12. Is Baldurs Gate II: Shadows of Amn multiplayer through the internet?
If it is multiplayer how so?
Like Guild wars where the towns are full of people you can invite to your party but other locations are just your party and npcs?

Like WoW where everywhere is multiplayer except maybe some instances or something?

Like Diablo where you create games and people can join them?

    Where everywhere is multiplayer?
