Gamers of the internet aren’t just mad anymore…they’re hurt too. So hurt that they’re willing to contact the Federal Trade Commission regarding changing the ending of Mass Effect 3.
BioWare forum user El_Spiko is leading the charge with messages such as,
Against EA. After reading through the list of promises about the ending of the game they made in their advertising campaign and PR interviews, it was clear that the product we got did not live up to any of those claims. This thread has a great compilation of their claims:

If anyone else wishes to file a complaint (the more there are the more likely the FTC will take action) just go to FTC.gov and fill out a complaint form in the Consumer Protection section. Filed a Better Business Bureau complaint as well. They can be found at BBB.org. The BBB will at the very least notify EA of any complaints they recieve, so every complaint filed is something that EA will hear about.
Correct me if I’m wrong here, but this seems a bit…drastic. First, I found absolutely nothing wrong with Mass Effect 3‘s ending and if anyone want’s to discuss the ending with me and why I find nothing wrong with it, you can email me at jakevalentine@thegamefanatics.com or talk about it within the comments. But when the game’s Executive Producer has openly talked about the game’s ending and future plans for DLC, it makes you wonder if we, the gamers, are the bad guys here and BioWare is the good guy in all of this. I mean, they gave us a fantastic, exciting, and entertaining trilogy to play through and just about all of us have loved 99% of it. Does this really seem like the best way to encourage BioWare to give us more of what we want in the future if we’re not happy and our response is to tell on them?
