Free Update for Square Enix's Imaginary Range Available Now for iOS Devices

Square Enix recently released a free update for it’s interactive, full-color comic, Imaginary Range. Imaginary Range is a comic developed by Square Enix that includes mini-games that have been inserted throughout the comic, and advances the story in a unique new way.

The update has included two new mini-games, Chocobo Racer and Sphere Bounce. Also included with the update is Omega Burst, a revamp of the popular Chapter 1 mini-game, Omega Blast. Updates other than mini-games include social network integration. Players will now be able to check their Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as update the two with posts or tweets, straight from the app.

For gamers with a more competitive nature, you will now be able to compete with other players around the world for the  top score on the leaderboards via the Apple Game Center.

For those who care to know some notable names who helped in the development of this app, here’s some interesting information. The director of Final Fantasy XIII, Motomu Toriyama, oversaw the project. The story for the comic was written by Souki Tsukishima, the author of the novel Emeth: Ningyo-tsukai no Shima. Toshiyuki Itahanawas helped design the game. He was the character designer for the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series.

Enough talk, if you want to get your hands on the game already then click here. After all it’s FREE, what do you have to lose?
