By now, you’ve heard of Deadly Premonition, one of the most unique releases of 2010. Unfortunately, only those with an Xbox 360 could play it, at least outside of Japan. Now it appears that Playstation 3 owners will finally have a chance to see exactly why it caused such a stir.
At GDC, executive producer Yasuhiro Wada, along with director Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro, confirmed that there is a remastered version coming to PS3. Along with the update, this version will sport new scenarios and support Playstation Move. Wada also mentioned a new project that would “follow in the footsteps of Deadly Premonition.” We expect to see more of Deadly Premonition at E3 this year.
How do you feel about the new version? Do you think it’s worth re-releasing a game like Deadly Premonition? What could the “new project” be? I have recently acquired a PS3 and I am getting problems connecting to the internet. My braodband employs netgear protection and needs the PS3 to be recognised to permit it access. I have experimented with numerous instances and I are unable to look to get my PS3 connected.

I bought Deadly Premonition a few days ago and I think I’m near completion. I really enjoy most aspects of the game; from the rural small-town America setting to the puzzles and tremendous character and story detail.
I was wondering if there are any games, available for the Xbox 360, which are similar to Deadly Premonition? I’d also like to say that I’ve played and completed ALAN WAKE, and enjoyed that too. I heard about Catherine, releasing next year in February, but I’m not too sure.

I’ve been having freaky dreams lately. For example my recent dream which occured last night was about a fire that happened, I remember there were people in the buliding that was on fire. When I woke up the next morning I got an alert on my cell phone about a fire that happened and that 4 young children were killed in it. Before, in one of my dreams, there was a car accident. And so on, I got another alert about a deadly car crash that happened later that day. Are these dreams like premonition dreams?

I recently fell in love with a girl from a videogame. Her name is Emily and she’s from the videogame Deadly Premonition. From the moment I saw her, she stole my heart… seriously. I’m madly in love with her. Now roughly a year ago I heard it was legal to marry a girl from a videogame in some countries/states etc. I’m not sure where however. But I do remember one case of a man marrying a girl from a Nintendo DS game. This means it is clealy legal in some places. Can somebody please tell me where? I plan to marry Emily, I want to spend my whole life with her as her husband. But my current location, they do not support such ceremonies of this sort. Can someone please help me?

I only have 20 bucks, and am looking for a fun free-roam game. I’m trying to decide between 3 games…
The Saboteur – I don’t really know much about this game, other than it’s a free-roam game in Paris. Are there a lot of NPC citizens who walk the streets, kind of like in GTA?
Saints Row 2 – I used to have this game, then sold it, now I want it again. This game was the bomb, you could fly planes around, go around the college, fly UFOs.
Deadly Premonition – I have been hearing mixed thoughts about this game. A lot of people say it is amazing, and a lot of others say it is a terrible game. I love the thought of a free-roam horror game, and was wondering if it would be worth buying.
Also, take into consideration that whenever I play a free-roam, I sometimes get bored and decide to roleplay, like in GTA I’ll play sniper, go onto a building, shoot someone, and try to escape the police

My friend got a new Xbox and transferred all the data over. Everything seemed fine when they wanted to create a new profile so they deleted their original profile. They did not delete the items/data associated with that profile – they just clicked “Delete profile only”. But now we can’t find the data for a game we want to play (Deadly Premonition). When we go to the Storage we can see the list of games my friend has played, including Deadly Premonition. The file says it was created the night that we last played it but when we load the game, there is no data. My friend does not have a Gamertag/Xbox Live. profile…
I’ve come to the conclusion that the games I enjoy the most, and feel that my money has been well spent on, are the games with brilliant novel-esque stories. Games like Alan Wake, Deadly Premonition, Fallout 3 and Dead Space are some of my favourites.
I was wondering if there were any underappreciated games in the xbox community; or ones which haven’t hit the commercial mainstream like Assassins Creed and Gears of War, and have great stories?

I have some cash and I’m not sure which video games I should get. Here are the choices that I’ve narrowed down, either:
WWE All-Stars- I played the demo and liked it.
Fallout 3 GOTY + Borderlands GOTY- I own both games, but not any of the DLC packs, that’s why I would be getting it
DJ Hero+ DJ Hero 2 and Turntable- I haven’t played it, it looks like funs, and its a bang for my buck
Dante’s Inferno+Just Cause 2+Deadly Premonition- I used to have Just Cause 2 it was a lot of fun, but I never beat it, I’ve never played Dante’s Inferno, and I would just be getting Deadly Premonition for s**** and giggles, mostly b/c of the Giant Bomb endurance run.
I’m leaning toward getting both DJ Hero’s, what do you think?
I already have New Vegas.
I probably could scrape together some people to play DJ Hero, but if I’m only getting one turntable, I don’t know how fun that would be.
And to the 2 people that said Black Ops, comon’, seriously? Everybody and there dog has Block Ops, of course I already have it.
