By now, you’ve heard of Deadly Premonition, one of the most unique releases of 2010. Unfortunately, only those with an Xbox 360 could play it, at least outside of Japan. Now it appears that Playstation 3 owners will finally have a chance to see exactly why it caused such a stir.
At GDC, executive producer Yasuhiro Wada, along with director Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro, confirmed that there is a remastered version coming to PS3. Along with the update, this version will sport new scenarios and support Playstation Move. Wada also mentioned a new project that would “follow in the footsteps of Deadly Premonition.” We expect to see more of Deadly Premonition at E3 this year.
How do you feel about the new version? Do you think it’s worth re-releasing a game like Deadly Premonition? What could the “new project” be? I never got a chance to play Deadly Premonition when it released two years ago, but I’m excited for the chance to play it with extra content, not to mention motion control.
