Capcom Reveals New Characters For PS Vita & DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken

by Chris CalasahanFebruary 21, 2012

Capcom-Unity revealed some details for upcoming fighter Street Fighter X Tekken.  The PS Vita version of this game will come with 12 additional characters.  The post also promises that all of these characters will be available via DLC for the console versions of this anticipated game.  This comes as good news as the roster definitely offers variety, adding more characters is definitely a way to catch fans attention as this game gets closer to being released.   The upcoming characters are as follows:

Street Fighter:

Guy, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Sakura, & Blanka

Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack, Lars Alexandersson & Lei Wulong

This announcement comes as a much welcomed bonus as there are a lot of fan favorites on both sides in this group of additions.  Final Fight staples Cody & Guy would make a fantastic team and seeing more characters from  Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is always a plus.  Also having Lei Wulon,g, Jack & Bryan Fury is awesome as since they have been in the Tekken series  for a very long time.   It is unfortunate that this has to be a DLC instead of being packaged with the game on it’s release, but  more characters  is always an added bonus and if they are made with the quality we’ve come to expect from Capcom, then it would be a pretty safe assumption that these characters will be worth the extra buck.
