Clan Operations are now available for Call of Duty ELITE users on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Along with the new content Overwatch (available today on Xbox 360), Clan Operations are now live for all ELITE users on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Enlistments for Clan Operations are now live on the ELITE Program Guide as well, so head over and rally your clan mates.
If you’re in a clan, your clan rank now shows up in game above your title in Modern Warfare 3
Clan Operations
Similar to lone wolf operations in that they score premium players for certain stats in certain game modes for specific amounts of time. Operations can range from “Most Team Deathmatch Kills” to “Most Captures in Domination,” and award real prizes and ELITE badges.
The differences between clan operations and lone wolf operations are that clan operations score members of clans instead of independent players, and clan operations award Clan XP.
To participate in a clan operation, you need to be a premium member of a clan and your clan’s leader must enlist your clan before the operation has started. If you are a free ELITE member, you can still play alongside your clan mates during operations, but only premium members are scored when determining your clan’s ranking
Prizes
Clan operations award clans that finish in the bronze tier or higher. Rewards such as badges that are displayed in your clan’s showcase and Clan XP. If your clan wins a champion badge in a prized operation, the players that finished in the top six of your clan for that operation will receive real prizes.

Please note, these questions are primarily concerning the multiplayer.
– Why in the server list, does it have a number of servers being displayed beside a BIGGER number in brackets? (even when i have all my filters being reset)
– How do I drop shot? What is the recommendatory button layout for drop shotting during game play?
– What is the recommended button layout? (not necessarily in regards to drop shotting, just for the easiest game play) of course on a regular QWERTY keyboard.
– I run a computer with 6G of DDR3 Ram, 64-bit, 2.7GHz, Dual-Core, with an ASUS EAH5750 Graphics card ( 1 GB of dedicated RAM just on the card), so all in all, a computer that is relatively prepared for gaming efficiency (one would think)
– With those specs I still face riduculous amounts of lag even when I am only selecting the servers in which I have the best connection to (lowest ping). I have played many console games in the past, i understand that lag cannot be prevented to a certain extent, but it had become such a big problem I had to ask. How can you reduce this? I close every open program and thing consuming even the slightest amount of virtual memory aside from steam and the game itself. ( and before you suggest it, yes i do still experience this lag when running in SAFE MODE)
– Can I increase the quality of my hit detection while i am playing online? in relation to the last note, I can log in to a server, play fluently for the first while, but as soon as i engage in combat or someone engages is me, there is sparatic lag, ( how convenient right?)
– how do i type a message to only my team?
– Why is there this constant feedback noise in my headset? I am using a Microsoft Lx-Chat 3000 and I did go into sound settings and specifiy that I am using a headset, but there is still CONSTANT noise in the back ground of every game I play, it seems to differ from map to map, but there is always some form of noise. (almost sounds like feedback?)
– why is there like 9000 servers if only a quarter of them get used?
– How do I join a clan?
– Why is hardcore mode so prevalent?
– How does one record gameplay on the PC? (online multiplayer gameplay)

I play a lot of domination, and I don’t have a group of people that I play with…so imagine the look on my face when I find myself in a lobby agains a clan in party chat, and I’m on a team of people without mics?
I usually pick low kill streaks (spy plane, Napalm Strike, Attack Heli). I find that I can’t use anything that has to be dropped, because my packages get taken. If I do get more than a 7 kill streak I’m really lucky, because I never know where anyone is coming from.
I find myself having to use a Ghost Class to keep from having an endless hail of chopper gunner fire raining on my head. I usually use a silenced weapon with Ninja pro…fire and manuever!!!
Luckily I have different styles of play. When I do find a decent lobby to play in, my other classes come out and I can get beasty…but that’s rare.
Can anyone suggest some tips for playing solo…or am I doomed unless I get into a clan? Also, I don’t want to get in a clan of 12 year olds tossing around the N word every 3 seconds because their mommy made the get off Xbox and wash dishes.
My idea is to get some people i sometimes play with to run the following set up when we play team deathmatch so we can get over on the other team. if all 4 or 5 of us do it i think it we will give us a huge advantage. heres my idea
all of us run ghost and use the same primary weapon with a silencer on it. doing that will keep us off the radar for good and using the same weapon would make ammo available. also i was thinking we could use jammers for our equipment and drop them randomly over the map. this will keep their radar on the fritz. for our perks we could use UAV and UAV Jammer to pinpoint enemies and further screw up their radar. i know we wouldnt be on the radar but it would make things difficult for the other team and would cover any members on our team not in our clan.
what do you guys think of my idea? would it work or is it too complicated? Also what is a good primary to silence (I was thinking Galil)
