Sine Mora to Feature Boss Designs by Mahiro Maeda

The upcoming vehicle shoot-em-up by Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture will feature boss designs by Mahiro Maeda. He is known for his work on Blue Submarine No. 6, Final Fantasy: Unlimited and The Animatrix (segment: “The Second Renaissance Parts I and II”), as well as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Magic User’s Club, and the animated segment of Kill Bill Part 1. Coming to Xbox Live later this year, Sine Mora is a new take on the classic shooter genre, with many different planes, characters, and time manipulation devices.

I hadn’t heard of the game until recently, but it looks to be an awesome combination of talent. Grasshopper Manufacture (Killer7, No More Heroes) is one of my favorite developers and Mahiro Maeda’s work is really amazing. No details yet on how the time manipulation will work, but the game has promise, and looks very visually stunning. Look for Sine Mora later this year.
