Gamers who buy new will receive free access to the RADNET system which will feature 55 pieces of new content in the seven weeks following the game’s April 24th launch. Content includes: in-game events, challenges, avatar items, themes, behind-the-scenes videos, and last but not least, bonus mutations for the main campaign. For fans who particiable in all of the RADNET weekly challenges, there is one more reward which will be unveiled later this March. The RADNET edition will only be available while supplies last.

“Radical Entertainment has always focused on bringing long lasting fun to its fans, and PROTOTYPE 2‘s RADNET content is our way of rewarding the game’s most loyal supporters – the early adopters, the one’s who will replay it over and over again,” said Ken Rosman, Studio Head, Radical Entertainment.

RADNET is an interesting take on the online pass system. I’m not thrilled about the limited quantities, but if done right it could be interested. Although, I’m always apprehensive when developers start talking about downloadable content months before the game is out. Look for more information as we get closer to the game’s launch. I’m still looking forward to this one, cautiously.
