IK Multimedia has announced the lasted product in its line of musician-oriented iOS accessories, the iKlip, an iPad stand designed to have the flexibility musicians need. A sturdy bottom with rubber feet holds the iPad in place during use, and a flexible bracket allows the iPad to be set at a variety of angles. A more horizontal angle is for synthesizers and drum pads, while for reading music and viewing instructional videos the stand can be set vertically. The iKlip can hold the iPad in either portrait or landscape orientation without blocking any of the ports. When not in use, the iKlip can be folded flat to maximize portability. The stand also features a mount for IK Multimedia’s iRig.
For musicians who use their iPads regularly, this stand looks ideal. The iKlip Studio will cost $29.99/€24.99 when it launches early this year. A mini version will be available for iPods and iPhones.

im searching to record Large High Quality guitar onto my PC, and i located a series of USB cables that allow you to document right onto your PC (i tried making use of a 1/8 inch plug to put in my PCs line-in the but hte good quality wasnt good)

Currently I am using an MBox 2 on my Mac Pro and recording on Pro Tools 8 (upgrading to PT9 soon). I am confident in my music composition abilities so I am going it a shot a becoming a DIY artist using various online tools for most of my marketing like ReverbNation, Headliner.fm, tumblr, Facebook, twitter, SC, kickstarter, pledge music (check those out incredible TOOLS).
My problem is in my sound recording. My recordings even though I am using a korg triton keyboard, IK Multimedia sounds plugins, nice acoustic/electric, condenser mic, etc, I STILL don’t get that “big”, “imaging”, professional sound that would enable me to upload the songs as soon as I am “done” with them.
Any “godsend” mastering and mixing plug-ins/hardware that I might not have heard of. Currently I connect everything straight to the MBox.
I don’t know which one to choose I had line 6 before and i like the way the stopboxes and diff,fx but I’ve heard a lot about ik multimedia about how realistic it sounds which one should I buy

Hi, I’m a complete noob to the whole recording with software programs. I am a metal guitarist and I want to record a few songs, lay down some vocals and record some drum tracks with the music. I have looked into it a little and it seems that my computer which is a hp dc7600 which operates on xp (sp2) would not be powerful enough to run some of the newer version of cubase or pro-tools and I might also find them difficult to begin with. I have tried to plug my guitar into my microphone jack and i get really delayed recordings and bad sound quality
I have had my M-audio Fast Track for a while now.(To those who don’t know, in which case if you don’t you might not be able to answer this, its a Guitar-to-computer USB interface). I mainly use it with my guitar plugged into my pedals, then into the Fast Track, run it through Pro-Tools 8 and then into my headphones. I don’t record much yet, so I only use it through Pro-Tools to play, because I don’t have an amp(Long story).
Anyhow, as some of you might know, IK Multimedia has just released the Amplitube 3 Custom Shop(Amplitube is a computer based, amp/stompbox/etc modeler). What this means is that you can download Amplitube 3 FREE of charge, but it only comes with a handful of gear. Then, you can buy gear individually a-la-carte, but I digress, so lets get to the point.
I downloaded the free version to try it out. I have my Fast Track USB interface, and I tried to use the Amplitube 3 standalone software. I can NOT, for the life of me, figure out how to set up the input as the M-audio and make it work. Whatever I do, it always ends up in only white noise coming out of the headphones/speakers(whatever I use), or at one point I got really loud feedback, which according to my tuner, is in the note of G#, but I assume that’s irrelevant.
I tried it with/without my pedals, with the Fast Track ASIO AND the Asio4All, with the DirectX; Nothing works. I’m a guitarist, which is evident a this point, and I am also very involved with day-to-day use of technology. But when I wanna sit down with my guitar, there’s nothing I HATE more than having to deal with shit like this. I want to set it up, so that next time, I can sit down, plug in, and play. If I could play into an amp, I would, but I can’t, so for this matter I ask your help.
So, Yahoo Answers community, can someone PLEASE tell me how to set up the input so I can play my guitar through Amplitube 3 Standalone? I have the M-Audio FastTrack with only 1 guitar/bass input, 1 Mic Input and 1 Headphone output, so its one of those simple ones.
PS: On a side note, I’d like to ask, how do I use the Amplitube 3 RTAS plug-in on a track in Pro-Tools 8? It would be as useful to know this too.

Okay, so i have a mac and the whole IK multimedia amplitube line. As of now, i have my guitar plugged into my computer, through amplitube (using it as an effects processor) and then a 1/8 cable from my computer to a 1/4 adapter into my tiny 15W guitar amp. I play the amp on the clean setting, as all the gain and effects are taken care of by amplitube. But now i want to plug into some larger speakers, and i would possibly want to make my own cabinet to save a little cash. So i want to know what i need to plug my computer headphone out into lets say a 4×12 speaker cab. I dont want to go buy a guitar amp because i dont need the gain or eq, all i need is pure speaker power. So do i need a power amp?
I bought a very dark purple dress for a wedding I have in may. I am not sure what jewellery and accessories to wear with the dress. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I installed total studio 2 and when I play the sounds in sampletank 2.5 they all play distorted. I tried doing so many things to fix this problem but no luck. What is wrong with the sounds?

My boyfriend used to play the violin, and would love nothing more than to learn to play again. I want to buy him one for Christmas, but I know absolutely nothing about violins, or any musical instruments at all. I’m looking for some help. I am wanting to add some GOOD string and orchestral sounds to some songs I’ve recorded. I don’t know where to start. Like I said, it’ll have to be able to work with Garage band, and I would like to not have to sell my soul to afford it. I know that MOTU Symphonic Instrument is supposed to be good. I’ve also heard that the IK Multimedia Miroslav Philharmonik Orchestra plugin is NOT so good. I’m new to all this. I have a USB keyboard to control the sounds. If needed also, I have an M-Audio dual channel interface as well. Thanks for your help.
