If you were at San Diego Comic Con 2011 last summer, you probably had the chance to see the amazing works on display at the Sideshow Collectibles area. It was hard to miss, with it’s incredibly tall scrolls looming over any booth in view. Over that weekend, I must have spent hours just standing there blown away by the grandeur of the works displayed in front of me. While I squeezed through the mob of fans, I found what I had been hoping would be displayed- The Dead Space Isaac Clarke Polystone Statue.

The Isaac Clarke polystone statue shows Isaac wearing his iconic engineering rig. It stands 16 inches tall and features a helmet that puts out a blue glow through the visor, as well as a supposedly incapacitated Slasher at Isaac’s feet.
So much amazing detail.
The 1:5 scale statue weighs approximately 11lbs, and displays Unitology symbols drawn in blood around it’s base. The plasma cutter in Isaac’s hand can be changed out for the Ripper if the owner is so inclined.

Most of you may know that I am a huge Dead Space fan (We just raised over $1300 for charity in partnership with Visceral Games and Treehouse Brand Stores). Visceral Games, in my opinion, has reinvented and breathed new life into the staling survival-horror genre. It just goes without saying that it would take an amazing collectible company like Sideshow Collectibles to do the franchise and Isaac Clarke justice…and it seems that they have.
The Dead Space Isaac Clarke polystone statue is available for pre-order for $274.99, and will start shipping during the second quarter of 2012.

What are some good title games that are horror based? I really liked Dead space and Bioshock. I have a PS3, Xbox 360, and a good gaming computer.
I just beat Dead Space on the PS3 on normal difficulty, but it doesn’t seem I can start a new game in hard mode with the extra bonuses I got at the end of normal mode. If I start a new game in hard mode, all of my inventory is gone and I lose all money and power nodes and suit upgrades, but if I load the completed game save it restarts the game in normal difficulty.
I looked around a noticed something called “Peng” which is a golden statue found near the beginning of the game, but could only be acquired on chapter 11 on Dead Space.
I know how to get the statue which isn’t too hard to do, but I don’t know why its worth playing on Impossible to get. Why is “Peng” worth getting?

I’m thinking of getting Dead Space 2. However, once you complete the campaign, how good is the replay value?
On Dead Space, how do the achievements, like spend 300,000 credits, keep count? After you complete the game can you start a new one and it will remember your progress, or do you have to do each one in one run through the campaign?
thanks hg_frnc, but i was just using the 300,000 achievement as an example, what about the 30 kill ones, and the full upgrade one? do your credits/nodes/weapons transfer if you start a new campaign after you’ve completed it once?
I got Dead Space 2 on the PS3, but I don’t know how to play Extraction. Could someone enlighten me?
On a side note, I got the iPhone game and supposedly unlocked some content in Dead Space 2. Will I get the content automatically the next time I visit a store or is there somewhere I need to go to do that?
Yesterday I bought dead space for the iphone and it said that you get a bonus and a frees node for your dead space. I registered myself and in the screen it said that i got the bonuses. My question is how do i get on my ps3?

I think Dead Space 2 looks awesome and I’d really like to play it before Dead Space 3 comes out, but my only question is how does it play with the content filter on? I hate games that have constant f bombs and excessive gore because I think it’s unnecessary. Would you say the filter would be like the one on Black Ops where there is only blood but not the gore and less language?
I am currently playing on the ‘Impossible’ difficulty in Dead Space and I just found out that there are cheats for nodes. Seeing as how this is my last trophy to get the platinum, will it void the trophy or not?
