The creative studio behind the game Galaxy on Fire 2, Fishlabs, announced its second expansion entitled Supernova. Picking up where the first expansion, Valkyrie, left off, Supernova will follow the story of pilot and adventurer Keith T. Maxwell. New missions, enemies and gear to outfit your favorite ship with are promised, as well as improved graphics and sounds. Supernova should take players around ten hours to complete.

‘We’ve put a lot of time and effort into the writing of the complex new storyline, which includes a lot of new mission types and makes for a truly outstanding experience. But also the graphics and the sound design will be absolutely top-notch! When it comes to Supernova, the name really is the game!’, says Fishlabs CEO Michael Schade.

Galaxy on Fire 2 is one of my favorite on my , very similar to the old PC game Freelancer. It has an epic story and a very large galaxy to explore, as well as a wide variety of ships to purchase and upgrade. Combat is fast paced and controls are tight. Graphics are already very solid, so I’m curious to see where they go with the new expansion. Galaxy on Fire 2 is a prime example of hardcore gaming in iOS devices.

Supernova will debut at GDC 2012 in San Francisco, and is currently set to be released Q2 2012. If you haven’t checked out Galaxy on Fire 2, it’s well worth it.

I wished to arrive up with a inventive way to physically describe or present what a supernova seems like, but I can not assume of anything. Most simulations are done employing a computer method to make it as true as possible. I am just trying to make it metaphorical but flashy at the same time. Any Individual know any ideas?
