Most companies don’t put any real thought into designing gaming peripherals and accessories. But that’s not the case for German accessories manufacturer Roccat. Roccat is a company that has prided themselves on creating innovative technology through real engineering processes. Not with some guy in a room crunching numbers to figure out what we want as consumers.
They take the time out to listen to all of the consumer’s needs from all the possible spectrums. From MMORPG (Massive Multi-player Online Role-Playing Games) to FPS (First-Person-Shooter), they LISTEN. And the results of them listening are clearly shown in their product lineup which was recently shown at CES 2012.
In all honesty, there is so much information regarding the listed products below that it would simply be too much to post on the site. So instead I found some videos regarding the Roccat Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard, and the Kone [+] Gaming Mouse that is an improvement of the original critically acclaimed Kone Gaming Mouse.
Also listed below is a brief breakdown of their new Alumic Mouse Pad that features a dual side design. One side is made of a soft gel to gently cradle your wrist and hand against it for average everyday use, while the other side is made of a slick surface that will help you when aiming in FPS games. All the products being offered by Roccat are simply astounding and top notch and I can’t wait to purchase a few things from them. Mainly that Isku Illuminated Gaming Keyboard, which will allow me to type in the dark and also set a custom macro for NCsoft’s MMORPG Blade & Soul.
ROCCAT™ Kone[+] Max Customization Gaming Mouse
The ROCCAT™ Kone [+] is the successor to the award-winning Kone gaming mouse. In addition, really efficient core improvements to the mouse wheel and surrounding buttons increase the ease of use of the new Kone[+]. The introduction of the Easy Shift[+] Button makes it possible to assign two functions to each button, like using the Shift key on a keyboard.
The accompanying Macro Manager makes creating custom command sequences really easy. Predefined Macro Presets for the top 20 PC games as well as several office apps make it even easier to customize the mouse – plus the new Loop Function now makes it possible to loop macros indefinitely. All the settings can be saved in five Game Profiles on the mouse’s 576kB of onboard memory, and linked to games and apps, allowing button configurations, lighting set-ups and DPI settings, etc., to be automatically loaded when the game is started.

For a FPS, are the benefits all that great when compared to a regular Microsoft optical mouse?
I’ve just gone and purchased this one (Thermaltake Black eSPORTS Gaming Mouse) online and am waiting for it to be delivered: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6cnAUpveSE&feature=related

I recently bought an X7 gaming mouse for my m15x laptop running windows 7. Does anyone know how I can download the proper drivers to make it work on windows 7? I’ve scoured the packaging, and it does not say which model the mouse is. Any help would be much appreciated.
Actually, one of the problems is that I cannot find the model number of the mouse on the packaging.
I know the serial number is 2618706, but that’s all.
I’m planning to buy a new gaming mouse,so i want to make sure about my decision!
Thanks in advance!
