Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Reaches Triple Threat

Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City

has unveiled a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming title, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, that puts us in the shoes of the Umbrella Secret Service (USS) as they attempt to cover up the zombie outbreak in Raccoon City at any means necessary. We’re finally introduced to the US Spec Ops Team that is attempting to reveal that horrors of the T-Virus. Said Spec Ops Team is eventually introduced to the USS. Spoiler: they don’t like each other.

Operation Raccoon City is a departure from the normal Resident Evil titles. While still a third person shooter, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation developer Slant Six is working on the project with Capcom and promises to deliver a more action packed experience that seems to be on par with a mash-up of Left 4 Dead and Gears of War.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City arrives March 20th. In the mean time, enjoy the trailer and be on the look out for what appears to be a Leon S. Kennedy cameo, who is in the game and you could kill. But then he wouldn’t star in Resident Evil 4 and rock our worlds…
