Seagate will be having a series of giveaways this week to both CES attendees and those at home. Quite possibly the best swag to be found on the showfloor, the Momentus XT SSD are actually hybrid drives, which means they function with the power of traditional hard drives with the speed and performance of solid state drives. Several of these SSD’s will be up for grabs this week, as well as the grand prize: a top of the line Alienware laptop fitted with the Momentus XT. Find out more details below:

Hello and Thank You for answering my question. I have been reading that computers with solid state hard drives is the future because fast boot times, reliability etc. Anyone care to guess when public might be able to buy such a computer at a reasonable price ? I see one already at Staples but DELL solid state pc cost more than $2,000.00 . WOW !
How long has SSDs (Solid State Drives) been available? I don’t like buying new technology right away, I’d much rather wait a while until they work out all the kinks in it.
I’m seriously considering buying the OCZ Vertex 2 (120GB version). My friend should be receiving his today, so I’ll be waiting to hear how it is.
Hi, i was wondering about RAID, because I watched this video where a group of guys used Raid with 24 Solid State Hard drives, and i was wanting to get two SSD and use raid, but i don’t know how to use it.
There two hard drive types that I know of, platter and solid state. How does each one work and what’s the difference?
P.S. Are there other types besides these?
i have been asked that question by my teacher. both looks the same to me but there’s some difference it seems. so pls help..
I will be in Las Vegas during the time of the CES show. I would really like to attend but can’t seem to find anything about how to get in (if I can…). Anyone have the know-how? Thanx!!
How do you say it in french? (Ca, ce, cet, cette, ces???) i dont get them?
I keep hearing that the song Ces soirées-là is based off an english song? Is this true and if so, what song?
I need a new phone, and I want the best phone out. So should I get the Droid X for Verizon for xmas, or should I wait till after CES 2011 to get a new cell phone for Verizon?
I’m building a Cranial electrotherapy stimulation Device and, was wanted to know if I could apply the Concepts of a Dreamachine to get Alpha wave Patterns using the CES device. I also have a Couple of friends that are Epileptic and can’t use a Dreamachine; If I am able to create the same effects with the CES would the electronic pulse bypass their risk of seizure?
And in a typical flight what are the maximum accelerations experienced on a Cessna 182 aircraft
Just wondering.
Are they made up of some rare metals?
…aside from your typical expenses, such as flight, hotel, car, meals, etc…And can these be recorded as business expenses? Anybody with experience with this, please comment.
Thanks in advance for your time.
I have already seen this schedule, but I want an explanation on it. Are there any other hidden costs not listed here?
If you have attended this event in the past or have registered for the upcoming CES 2011, please let me know if you had to pay any other costs, besides what’s listed.
Thanks again.
How much is the ticket cost for general public in the CES 2010 in las vegas?
