This lovely fine set of 16 Limited Edition Dead Space lithographs (click the image to enlarge), signed by the Dead Space development team at Visceral Games, is up for grabs on Ebay.
But that’s not the only reason you should want them.
All of the proceeds from the lithographs will be donated to charity, for the Save the Children: Emergency Response fund, a charity that helps children and families who have been struck by natural disasters.
But that’s also not the only reason you should want them.
This auction and set of lithographs has a personal backstory behind them for John Sylvester, The Game Fanatics resident Community Manager.
Back in April, Visceral Games hosted a Dead Space 2 auction charity to raise money for the Red Cross efforts in Japan. John, inspired by this charity, decided that he wanted to host an auction of his own, with the 16 Dead Space lithographs that he had won in a contest thrown by TreeHouse Brand Stores. He contacted Corey Abrams, Assistant Producer/Project Manager at Visceral Games and a friend, about the charity idea and Corey undertook the task of getting the lithographs signed. John also contacted TreeHouse Brand Stores about spreading the word for the charity, and TreeHouse Brand Stores generously provided a new set of lithographs for the charity so that John could keep the ones he had won.
After all of the arrangements had been made, Corey sent the lithographs, freshly signed by the Dead Space Team, to John. The charity seemed as if it were set to kick off. Then, Murphy’s Law decided to pay John a visit, as the law of the unfair world is to always have bad things happen to good people.
Corey passed away from an accidental fall. His death hit John hard, since in their time working together on the charity, they had become closer friends. Then, to make matters worse, the package with the lithographs never showed up at John’s door.
After two weeks of investigation, it turned out that the lithographs had been delivered and that packages around his area had a tendency to “disappear”. Someone apparently had stolen the signed lithographs.
At this point, John was ready to give up. It seemed like it wasn’t worth it anymore, considering everything that had happened. Alexandra Horwitt from TreeHouse Brand Stores convinced John to try again and agreed to send another set of lithographs to Visceral Games. He had also gotten into contact with Daniel Lingen, Visceral’s Community Manager, who was also extremely supportive and got these new lithographs signed.
So here they are, finally in the right place and ready to be auctioned off under Corey Abram’s name. If you can’t contribute monetarily to the auction, you can still help by spreading the word of the auction to your friends.
And send John some love. Most would have given up in his position, but he pushed on for this charity drive. John, you’re amazing for putting this together despite your troubles. Take a bow.
If you’re interested in taking part in the auction, direct yourself to John’s Ebay page. Also, take a moment to tell John that what he’s doing is incredible on his Twitter.

I just examine not too long ago that John Gotti Junior has marketed the rights to his life tale to Fiore Films. And they are now searching for an actor to play this character part. Sylvester Stallone definitely would be my pick.
So if you really feel the very same way remember to send a fast email to Fiore films allowing them know you experience Sylvester Stallone would be the right man for the job. This Is there electronic mail address.
