TGF Press Start: Week Ending October 23

Press Start

We here at The Game Fanatics would love for our readers to get to know us a little better. With this in mind, today we’re launching The Game Fanatics Press Play! This will be a weekly segment where we share what games we are currently playing. Said games can range from retro to current and from casual to games. If we’re playing it, we’ll share it. Please feel free to comment with what your playing or your opinions on the games that we’re involved with.

Tavia: : Even though I was expecting a straight action adventure game, I’m finding the strange mini-game environment they’ve set up really fun. I like the races and quests and other strange point farming arena events.

David: So far this week I’ve been neck deep in , I never thought I’d enjoy dying so much but this game makes it work. Apart from that I’ve been catching the occasional game of Gears online.

John: : The Missing Link DLC. Alot of fun, but so far it’s a lot easier than Human Revolution. I’m a sucker for stealth games though. And of course Uncharted & Uncharted 2 again to get ready for Uncharted 3.

Jen: I started Arkham City straight away and made it my mission to finish it before Battlefield 3 drops. Playing only the story, I did just that. I did get a lot of “hate” tweets but before you guys kill me as well, I do plan on going back to play all of the good stuff that I missed. I also picked up for . Not a huge casual gamer but for some reason, I enjoy playing Bejeweled. Good time waster. has been played off and on and I tried a bit of thanks to Gamefly.

Tom: Gears 3 – After getting destroyed numerous times on the community playdate, I’ve decided that I could do with some online practice. When I’m on the , I’ve been on Football Manager 2012, perfecting my Manchester United squad.

Ryan: I’ve been going through the WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW games from 2007 to 2011 to get some of the achievements I don’t have, psyching myself up for WWE ’12 when it drops next month. Other than that though, typical and Halo: Reach.

Ben: I’ve been doing a new game+ run through of Dark Souls and it is probably even harder. Mostly importantly though, it is still freaking awesome.

Brittany: : I’ve been running around on The Crystal Scar capping your points and hiding in bushes. I love this new game type!
