XCOM Developer Diary 1 Released

The folks behind the new X-COM game, , have released a , going into how they’re shaping the game and how its features will take the game beyond your standard sci-fi . The new game in the series will feature an RPG-style leveling system that will allow you to customize your abilities and has an interesting visual metamorphosis of the environment.

is scheduled to be out March 6th, 2012 in the US. Hopefully the game does well financially, despite being launched on the same day as Mass Effect 3. I personally think there’s a lot of room in this series for expansion.
