To say that I am excited for Super Mario 3D Land is an understatement. When the newest trailer hit the internet, I was blown away. I’ve been waiting to see how the Mario crew will use the 3DS’s stereoscopic abilities, and now 3DS owners can get a preview of what they’ll be seeing on November 13, 2011 when Super Mario 3D Land hits US stores.
That’s enough talk for now. If you have a 3DS, open the browser and click here, then touch the “?” block. My personal favorite image so far is the room full of toads and a structure similar to M.C. Escher’s Infinite Staircase. Viewing the image in 2D makes it appear as a closed loop, while moving the depth slider up reveals a secret otherwise invisible without the effect.
Christmas is coming in about a month and a half so I was thinking about my presents. Back in the april I showed em the 3DS, but they said that it’s just a DS in 3D and I reccently got a DSi and that it’s also quite pricey. Well alot of things changed. 3DS had a price drop and now is about £80 less also there’s a bundle of Super Mario 3D Land with Ice White 3DS. The color I always wanted. I also would keep playing games on my DSi because I was at my friends and he recently bought a 3DS. He had Super Street Fighter IV 3D which was awesome. He also had Pokemon White (I also had it so I’ve some significiant changes). The game was blurry and looked nothing like on DSi also the baterry dies after about three hours of playing so it’s kinda stupid to waste your precious baterry on places like airplanes for DS games if you have a DSi. Well now I was starting to think that he forgot everything about the 3DS as they said it’s pricey and just a video game so I didn’t argue and left the shop as soon as possible. They also think I have a video game addiction ( as every kid out there I just play them for fun when nothing else is on like for example on rainy days. Yet to myself I can’t deny that sometimes on the weekends I’d rather choose to play with my PC and DS rather then going out with my friends). So how do I ask them for it? The only thing I can figure is to play the video games the least when they see it. I know they want me the best, but I’ literally going to cry if they say no because all the upcoming games of Mario are awesome.
