App of the Week Rundown 03: Time Geeks: Find All! HD

Time Geeks: Find All! puts a unique, sci-fi twist on what we know as the classic hidden objects game. Developed by Cory Games, Time Geeks provides “geeks and gamers” with the perfect blend of 8-bit nostalgia and futuristic elements in the most adorable way.

Time Geeks: Find All! is all about the pixel art. With bright colors and an ever-present, old-school, retro feel, TG:FA! does not disappoint. With over 100 challenges, the [designed] scenarios and stories told, stay original and keep you addicted. Time Geeks is made up of 7 different modes:

– History Mode: Discover the full Zoorgs history!

– Find All!: Enjoy with no time limit

– Find Worms!: How many worms can you find?

– Find Zoorgs!: Can you find the hidden Zoorgs?

– Find Us!: Our geeks are playing around!

– Editor: Create your own pixel art to play

– Minigames: Unlock minigames by playing history mode

– Find Zombies!: Coming Soon!

Each mode gives you directions on who or what to find, sometimes in a quirky, witty way, and the location of each object changes with every reset.  Each object is worth 3 stars, and you acquire these stars by finding said object in a certain amount of time; so be quick, be agile, and be ready!  Unlike Where’s Waldo?, Time Geeks offers more of a challenge and sense of accomplishment when fully completing a level (all stars included)!

Like most apps found in iTunes, Time Geeks links up with The Game Center keeping track of your achievements, scores, and both friends/world ranking!  You can also access OpenFeint (another social gaming platform, like The Game Center), as well as post stats and achievements to Facebook and Twitter via the Time Geeks main menu.

Time Geeks is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.  The original download/installation is FREE!  With this, you receive History Mode… that’s still a pretty sweet deal! Once installed, you can purchase the extended version/full game for:

– $0.99 – iPhone/iPod

– $1.99 – iPad

This is one of the greatest apps I’ve come across!  It’s cheap, it’s addictive, it’s worth it; and who can resist those charming characters?  Be sure to check out http://www.thetimegeeks.com/en/ for information about new apps, as well as other versions of Time Geeks available!
