GameTree TV Coming To Freebox in France

TransGames, Inc. issued a press release today announcing that they’re bringing their innovative on-demand service, GameTree TV, to the leading French broadband operator Free via the Freebox Revolution set-top boxes. Free’s set-top box, which launch on December 14, has been rapidly taking over living rooms in France. Much like , GameTree TV brings the experience to you without having to buy a console or a .

TransGaming has put itself ahead of the curve with the GameTree TV platform, which is a great example of the enhanced entertainment experiences that Intel CE-based devices can deliver.” – Lance Koenders, director of worldwide marketing for Intel Digital Home Group.

Backed by Intel, provider of the processors found in the Freebox Revoltion, the GameTree TV service brings casual gaming to the living room. GameTree TV will launch with 25 titles on the Freebox Revolution, such as Bejeweled 2, Garage, Inc., and World of Goo, with new game being added every week. A variety of pricing options will be available.
