I am sure if you have played the Crysis 2 Demo on PlayStation Network or have been reading articles on N4G and other sites, you have seen or heard complaints about the troubled visuals. Well, last night I emailed Crytek about the visual complaint from gamers. The question I had originally asked was:
“Was the PS3 demo an earlier build of the game, and if not, does the team plan on sending out an update to fix some issues with the game?”
I received an email this morning from Steve Hahnel on behalf of EA and Crytek. The statement I received was this:
“This demo is for evaluation purposes only and is not necessarily representative of the final features and quality of the software. It’s written in the disclaimer for the demo as well. That’s the best way we can put it, honestly.”
Though this answer does not please the ear, do not be worried about the final edition of the game. The reason I say this is because the PS3 Demo of Crysis 2 did not have this issue when I played it at GDC 2011. I could honestly not tell the difference between the console versions of the game. Either way, Crysis 2 is still a great game. The full game releases on March 22, 2011 on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Check out the Crysis 2 website for more information about the game.

Let’s suppose I have a friend over (who has an xbox live gold account) and we both want to hop on some multiplayer (just like you can on Black Ops or Halo Reach). Can we do this on Crysis 2?
Hi guys. I have a Samsung 3D capable HDTV and would like to play Crysis 2 in 3D with my laptop. I there are 2 options in the menu 1 is for side by side effects and the other one is for interlaced effects, but none of them seem to work. Is there some kind of software required?
I see 2 of the hottest games of 2011 being released this month march.Crysis 2 and dragon age 2. Id like to buy them via digital download so i dont have to wait but im looking for the cheapest prices to get them as i need both.
