InFamous 2: The Beast is coming

When SuckerPunch released inFamous two years ago, it had to go toe-to-toe with and not only did it exceed as an exclusive, but it showed the industry how to make sandbox games fun again. While most gamers have had to sit through quick-to-get-boring sandbox experiences like and Saint’s Row, inFamous was that breath of fresh air, but it wasn’t without its quirks and problems. Now, SP is preparing to unleash inFamous 2 unto the world and with it comes the feeling we’ve all wanted — to know what being a super superhero feels like. After all, we’ll need it, because The Beast is coming.

Speaking with the Official PlayStation Website, art director Mathias Lorenz introduces gamers to the new Cole MacGrath and everything he’s about. One thing gamers need to be prepared for is The Beast, because not only is he coming, but you’ll get to see exactly what he’s about from the get go.

Going into inFamous 2, right away you fight The Beast and you find yourself reeling from that experience. So Cole goes to this new city, New Marais, which is a southern United States city inspired by New Orleans and a couple of European cities such as Paris and Italian architecture. He goes there because that is the place where the Ray Sphere is built, this thing that he got his superpowers from. So Cole tries to find people who are familiar with it because he knows that he needs to amplify his powers, he needs to become a super, superhero because he knows The Beast is coming.

While earlier speculation was believed that Cole would be venturing to a city based around Atlanta, that proved to be untrue as Lorenz confirms that the new locations within the game take their influence from cities such as Paris and New Orleans. After all, the Ray Sphere was created in Europe and Cole must find the origination of the device in hopes of becoming much stronger and being able to deal with The Beast in an easier fashion.

*Spoiler great ending *Well, there has been speculation about Notorious 3. I think their will be, Suckerpunch explained they required some good ideas for a 3rd. Well, 1 and 2 were wonderful weren’t they? They were great ideas. These who noticed the very good ending and explained it was a 3, I’m sorry but I imagine you are wrong. Appear close, not what you want to see but closely. The lightning bolt was a ? . So, that most likely implies Suckerpunch had previously deemed a third but didn’t want to give any real hope and then not deliver one particular out. I have not finished the evil ending however but type of know what to count on – you knew when you made the selection when you selected electricity RFI or help Beast., they were not sneaky about what was likely to happen.
I agree with some men and women in – give Kessler’s tale in the past (however you were not meant to like him so it might not work) or make Cole come back with the lightning bolt (who we all love!). Those who say it wrecks the tale by retaining 1 ending well, really? Both video games really, when you think about it, lean in direction of Good karma. Evil Karma is there so then its not like any other boring video game with 1 hero who saves the day, will get the woman and they dwell fortunately ever after. It targets two audiences in 1 game, hitting two birds with 1 stone. Evil ending would seem like they could carry on it even though – Cole ain’t dead.

So what does every person think. Must there be Infamous 3? Do you concur with what I say? It open up to discussion.
