In December Rockstar announced that Red Dead Redemption fans will be able to vote on what the GameStop pre-order incentives for the game will be. Voting began yesterday and as seen above there are three outfits for the game’s main character John Marston to choose from, each with their own gameplay advantage as detailed on the voting page here. The winning outfit will only be unlocked once a series of in-game challenges have been completed.
The Expert Hunter seems to be winning at the time of writing this post.
Im curious as how gamestop will get their values on trade ins. I traded in about 7wii games and the wii zapper and i put in like over 200$ on thoes games and only got about 40$.
People often criticize piracy because people play games without paying the developers of the game, hurting the industry and making them less likely to keep making games. That seems like fair criticism to me, but doesn’t buying a game at a used games store like Gamestop do the exact same thing? Paying Gamestop for a physical copy does not seem very different from getting a digital copy for free, if no money goes to the game’s publisher and developer either way.
